Frequently Asked Questions > International Fairs

What are international fairs and what purpose do they serve?

International Fairs are great trade events for exhibiting products and services.  Fairs are organized to facilitate trade among countries.  They provide an economic and non-improvable way to develop and increase exports.  Fairs are unique instances to promote products and/or services, and make business contacts with people from around the world –or at least from the economic region where the fair is held; they also serve to present a country’s image, economic-commercial advantages, and culture.

Who may participate in fairs organized by NICAEXPORT?

Any exporting company, or any company wishing to start exporting, legally incorporated under Nicaraguan law, with legal domicile in Nicaragua.

Early notice of fairs is given through two Nicaraguan journals, La Prensa and El Nuevo Diario.  Also, notice of fairs is given through our electronic newsletter NOTIEXPORT.  You may subscribe online to NOTIEXPORT for free, through our portal.
