  Mission

To promote the growth of exports, thereby contributing to Nicaragua’s poverty relief and economic and social development.

  Vision

To convert CEI into a world-class Export Promotion Center, to improve the competitiveness of Nicaragua’s export sector and thereby obtain a successful position in the foreign trade market.

Objectives:

  1. To help Nicaraguan businesses (mainly small and medium scale businesses, or “PYMEs”) to develop the competitive edge needed for penetrating export markets.
  2. To avoid the duplication of efforts through coordinating and integrating activities with those of other private and public sector actors.
  3. To minimize the efforts required by exporters, through offering a “One Stop Shop” within CEI. Through this service, the exporter may find all export support services needed in a single location.
  4. To assist the development of a policy framework that supports exports.
